What to Expect When You Book a Red Star Catching Team

The quote. You call us or fill in the form on the website. We’ll ask about your site, your bird numbers, your timing and any specific welfare or compliance requirements. We’ll give you a clear, itemised quote with no hidden extras.

The briefing. Once you’ve confirmed, our Poultry Department Manager Juris Desins will be in contact ahead of the job. We’ll discuss access, welfare requirements, any site-specific considerations and what time you need the team on site.

The arrival. The team arrives as agreed — on time, with their own equipment and appropriately dressed for biosecurity compliance. Before entering your shed, they’ll go through your site-specific induction if required.

The work. Our teams work under the supervision of an experienced team leader throughout. Bird welfare standards are maintained throughout the catch — we monitor pace, handling technique and bird condition as we go.

The sign-off. When the job is complete, the team leader will walk through the work with you. We don’t consider a job done until you’re satisfied it’s been done to standard.
